8 Best Free Android Multiplayer Games to Play with Friends

If you’re looking to pass the time on your Android smartphone or tablet, don’t forget to include some multiplayer games with friends!

Whether you’re playing with people in your house or around the world, you can find some great options to play against each other in real time on Android devices, whether it’s over WiFi or the Internet. Here are eight of the best free Android multiplayer games to play with friends.

1) Brawl Stars

Brawl Stars Multiplayer Game

A new multiplayer game from Supercell, Brawl Stars is similar to many of their other popular games. Once you pick a character, you’ll enter into one of three different game modes: Bounty, Heist and Showdown.

These are all team-based games that require some tactical thinking in order to succeed. If you’re looking for more fun multiplayer games on your mobile device, look no further than Brawl Stars. The graphics are gorgeous, there’s a ton of customization options and it’s free! The best part? You can play it against friends. It’s available on both iOS and Android devices, so don’t miss out!

2) Fortnite

Fortnite Best Multiplayer Game

If you’re looking for a free game to play with friends, Fortnite is as good as it gets. There are plenty of ways to play and fun is available for everyone. Whether you want something quick and dirty or deep and strategic, there’s a flavor for every type of player.

The free version offers plenty of hours of gameplay before your skills will be challenged (unless you’re really great at FPS games) so there’s no harm in trying it out; if it turns out that you love it, consider buying into Battle Passes when they go on sale (seasonal passes can get pricey). While playing online, try to avoid using voice chat unless you know all of your teammates—the general internet population isn’t known for being kind.

Overall, it’s one of our favorite multiplayer games to play with friends because we enjoy its focus on skill over time spent playing—and because there are always new challenges being released! Also, if you like Call of Duty-style shooting mechanics but don’t like the blood and gore or military themes, Fortnite has a very similar style without all that stuff (and without much of an age limit). You’ll never have any trouble finding people to team up with in order to save the world from monsters!

3) Rules of Survival

Multiplayer Games Rules of Survival

Rules of Survival is one of best free multiplayer games on android. Currently, it’s by far one of my favorite multiplayer mobile games because you can play it cross-platform between your phone and PC. It is a fast-paced battle royale game in which 100 players fight to be the last one standing.

Players start off in an airplane and parachute out over a massive island with guns and other equipment that they must use to find shelter, hunt animals, build structures, and more in order to survive. The graphics are top notch for a mobile game as well! This is a must-download if you’re looking for some good multiplayer android games. You can consider this as multiplayer games to play with friends

You should also check out PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile (PUBG Mobile) or Fortnite Battle Royale if you like these types of games. These two have been getting lots of attention lately as well and may be worth checking out too. You should also take a look at our best FPS list here. And there’s plenty more where those came from so go ahead and check them all out! 4) PUBG Mobile

 PUBG Mobile the Multiplayer Game

PUBG has managed to become one of, if not, THE most played video game on Earth. Not only is it fun, but it’s competitive as well—and once you get into a good clan, you’ll start seeing just how rewarding playing PUBG can be. PUBG Mobile is pretty much exactly what it sounds like: a free-to-play version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds that has been optimized for mobile devices and shrunk down in size so that even low-end smartphones can play it without any hiccups.

The game is available on both iOS and Android phones. No word yet on when or if there will be crossplay between iOS and Android users. You’re dropped onto an island with 99 other players who are all after one thing: survival. You must scavenge for weapons, supplies, and vehicles while trying to stay alive by taking out other players until there is only one player left standing. It’s brutal and intense, but also incredibly fun! If you want to know best games like PUBG mobile for android and iOS here.

5) Rules of Survival Battle Royale

Rules of Survival Battle Royale the Multiplayer Game

Rules of Survival (Free) has been called a cross between PUBG and Fortnite. Unlike those games, though, Rules of Survival takes place on one massive map—making it harder for players to avoid each other while they search for weapons and armor. Players can work together in Duos or even trios if you’re feeling confident (or desperate). Best part: A match only takes 10 minutes, so you can get in a game anytime you have a spare moment. Pick up your copy from Google Play here.

When I’m Not Around: As its name suggests, When I’m Not Around is a multiplayer game where you play as an invisible ghost who kills people. You see them wandering around doing their thing, but when they turn their back on you, that’s when you strike! Once someone dies (which happens immediately), their spirit will appear and be able to kill anyone else who is still alive.

The last person standing wins! You can grab When I’m Not Around for free from Google Play .
If You Could Become Anyone In Real Life… Who Would It Be? If You Could Become Anyone In Real Life… Who Would It Be? is basically Just Dance meets Pictionary mixed with some music trivia questions thrown in there too.

6) Asphalt 9 Legends

Asphalt 9 Legends The Multiplayer Game You Can Play with Your Friends

Asphalt 9 Legends is a racing game that pits your expensive supercars against each other on a variety of iconic tracks. Each car has its own strengths and weaknesses, which means you have to play strategically in order to win.

There are also dozens of upgrades available for your vehicle, including engine improvements, armor enhancements, and interior customization options that you can use in between races. Asphalt 9 Legends offers an excellent multiplayer mode in which players compete online via WiFi or LTE; it’s one of my favorite free-to-play games on Android.

And if you’re looking for a place to race some of your favorite cars from Need for Speed: No Limits, then I suggest checking out Asphalt 8: Airborne; both games are very similar.

7) Epic Game Store

Epic Game Store Best for Multiplayer Games

Epic Game Store is a game distribution platform owned by Epic Games. It was launched in 2017 as a direct competitor to Valve’s Steam storefront. The store primarily offers games developed using Unreal Engine technology, and games from independent developers, especially from those that previously used its Unreal Development Kit.

To date, it has exclusive distribution rights for Fortnite Battle Royale and Dakar 18, one of five announced partnerships for 2018. As of December 2018, it is available in 63 countries worldwide. It competes directly with other game stores such as Steam, GOG Galaxy, Origin and Uplay.

Epic Games also operates an e-commerce website called The Epic Shop, which opened on November 7th 2018 offering AAA titles from publishers including Ubisoft and 2K Games at discounted prices relative to other platforms. However several publishers have blocked users from purchasing their titles through The Epic Shop citing contractual obligations with other platforms such as Steam or Uplay.

Additionally, due to ongoing disputes between Electronic Arts (publishers of FIFA) and Tencent (publishers of PUBG), EA titles are not currently available on either Epic Games’ online store or their digital download client.
